Siân & her bridesmaids were getting ready at her parents house in Didmarton, just behind a pub we know very well, The Kings Arms…. should we pop in? a bit early maybe. Whilst Chris photographed the features that go into making a wedding day so special: dress, jewellery, beautiful flowers etc., I was kept busy photographing Siân having her makeup & hair done whilst 5 very excited bridesmaids were getting ready. Siân & David had decided that their wedding car would be an E-Type Jaguar which was fantastic but I don’t think that the practicality of getting in and out Read More
Berkeley Castle Wedding Photographers – Lizzie & Neil
We can plan for most things except the weather and, it would appear road works! Like those which appeared the day before Lizzie & Neil’s wedding right outside Lizzie’s parents’ house. So we had diggers, traffic cones, lights, signs and one way traffic to contend with. Thankfully, Lizzie’s parents were on the case and when Lizzie was ready to leave, the helpful workmen cleared an area beside the house, turned both sets of traffic lights onto red so that Lizzie could cross the road to get into her wedding car and set off for her fairytale wedding at Berkeley Castle. Wedding Photographers – The Hare & Hounds Hotel, Tetbury – A ‘Rainbow’ Wedding!
If you can’t decide what colour scheme to have for your wedding, why don’t you do what Rebecca and Alex did and have a ‘Rainbow Wedding’. The colours were bright and vibrant and not only did the bridesmaid dresses and flowers look amazing (you’ll have to look at Rebecca & Alex’s wedding post to see these photos) the room at The Hare & Hounds looked fantastic too. Wedding Photographers at The Hare & Hounds, Tetbury – Rebecca & Alex
When Rebecca & Alex booked us last year, they told us they were having a ‘rainbow’ wedding; a first for us! We weren’t quite sure what to expect but it was amazing, the colours were so vibrant and matched Rebecca & Alex’s personalities perfectly. Rebecca and her 9 bridesmaids, yes 9!, not forgetting the little flowergirl Martha, were all getting ready at The Hare & Hounds and there was lots of excitement! All the dresses were beautiful, the bride wore a breathtaking Mori Lee gown with crystal beads on the bodice and an ivory, pearled sash to enhance its romantic Read More
Beautiful circlet of flowers…. for a while anyway!
Little Elisabeth was not too enamoured with her beautiful circlet of flowers, a bit of tugging here and there and she thought it looked much better. This was the transformation within 30 minutes! Her poor Mother had a real job trying to untangle the mess! Read More
So cute!
We love our job and everytime I look at this triptych of these flowergirls in their pretty little dresses, it just makes me smile. I love their curiosity …… “what’s down here?” Read More
Rachel & Neil – Pre-wedding photo shoot
We met Rachel & Neil at The Hare & Hounds for a coffee and to go through the final details for their wedding in a few weeks time. I think we were all reluctant to leave the warmth of the cosy hotel but we headed off to Westonbirt Arboretum to do their pre-wedding shoot. Although the rain had stopped, the fog was lingering, everywhere was very damp and we had the arboretum to ourselves, what a surprise! Rachel admitted to being a little nervous at first but we had a lovely time and they soon relaxed and were enjoying having Read More
Kingscote Barn Wedding Photographer – Lisa & Andy – Pre-wedding photo shoot
We met Lisa & Andy at Kingscote Barn to do their pre-wedding shoot and finalise the details of their wedding. I clicked with Lisa when we first met back in January so I knew there wouldn’t be any trouble with conversation, if anything, it was going to be difficult to stop us chatting. We had a beautiful, autumnal day but oh my goodness, the wind was bitter so we didn’t hang around. After lots of fun taking photos of Lisa & Andy and a ‘very obstinate’ remembrance poppy, we headed for the local pub (just for a coffee!) to go Read More
Kingscote Barn Wedding Photographer – Rachel & Alex
What can I say about Rachel & Alex’s wedding day…… well apart from being a lovely day, it was very, very, wet! Apparently April 2012 was the wettest April on record and we definitely agree with that! Rachel & Alex had chosen Kingscote Barn because of the amazing views across the Cotswold countryside but all we were greeted with was torrential rain, high winds and mist! Saying that, we had a great day and everyone forgot about the dreary weather outside and family & guests celebrated Rachel & Alex’s wedding in the comfort of the barn. We took most of Read More
Birtsmorton Court
We were invited to the Press Open Day at Birtsmorton Court, one of our favourite venues. The theme was ‘the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party’ and with canapés, bubbly, jam tarts with tea and an ‘Alice in Wonderland’ themed Treasure Hunt, it was a great day enjoyed by all. For couples looking for a wedding venue steeped in history, look no further than this Medieval, moated manor house with its drawbridge leading into a secluded courtyard, 16th Century Great Hall boasting a large open fireplace, timbered walls, and a beautiful William & Mary ceiling. After their ceremony, couples can enjoy a Read More
Cripps Stone Barn Wedding – Wedding Inspiration
We had a great time at Emma & Chris’ recent wedding at Stone Cripps Barn. As a thank you, Emma gave us one of their floral displays and some cake, the cake was yummy and here are the flowers.
