Kingscote Barn is one of our favourite venues and we returned to the Barn for Rebecca & Chris’ wedding reception. We were back to one of our favourite venues today; Kingscote Barn with its stunning Cotswold views. Dave had placed hand-painted signs on nearby road junctions to guide guests to the barn (we love those personal touches at a wedding). As a landscape gardener for the National Trust, Dave and his bride had opted for a garden theme and the ceremony room was strewn with beautiful, original flower displays by Sorori Design Florists. The couple had requested a different themed flower display for each table: Rose Garden, Wild Flower Meadow, Lavender Walk, Herb Garden etc, all of which reflected Dave’s skills as a landscape gardener. Siân & her bridesmaids were getting ready at her parents house in Didmarton, just behind a pub we know very well, The Kings Arms…. should we pop in? a bit early maybe. We arranged to meet Sian & David for their pre-wedding shoot at Kingscote Barn and after going through the final details for their day, we took them off down the lane for a little walk. They admitted about being a little nervous about having their photos taken but with the click of the shutter and the noisy lambs bleating loudly in the fields behind them, they soon relaxed.
