I always like seeing the floral displays at a wedding and I loved this classic cream & green theme by the ‘Tie the Knot’ team at Brympton House. Read More

Coombe Lodge Wedding Photographer – Becci & Phil’s Wedding
We were really looking forward to Becci & Phil’s wedding celebrations at Coombe Lodge, a new wedding venue for us. We had done a recce of the venue a few weeks before (plus a quick visit to the local pub to make sure it was of an acceptable standard for guests!) so we were well up to speed with some fabulous locations to take Becci & Phil for photos. The bridal suite was huge so plenty of room for me to capture those special moments like when the Dad sees his daughter for the first time in her wedding dress, Read More

Kelly & Paul’s Wedding – The Trout, Tadpole Bridge, Oxfordshire
Kelly & Paul had opted for a very relaxed wedding at The Trout in Oxfordshire, a beautiful, riverside setting. We have known Kelly & Paul for many years, we photographed Grace at 20 months (check out the masthead of our blog!!) and Tom when he was a newborn so it was lovely to be asked to photograph their wedding. They had requested very informal photography which was right up our street. Kelly & Paul had decided to spend their honeymoon (or should that be ‘familymoon’) on a narrowboat which was moored on the river next to The Trout and I Read More
Burma – ‘The Golden Land’
Chris at work in Burma. The U Bein wooden bridge across the Taungthanan Lake is the world’s largest teak bridge with 1060 poles. During the height of the rainy season, the lake rises several feet and laps just below the floor planks. Happy memories of a beautiful country. Brympton House Wedding – Katherine & Brett
Katherine & Brett had chosen Brympton House for their wedding venue as it was local to them and as it was listed as “one of Somerset’s finest Stately Homes” how could this fail to deliver on the ‘WOW’ factor for a wedding and it certainly did not let us down. We arrived very early and were shown around by Ellie & Grace, who were very welcoming. The bridal suite was huge and I had plenty of fun photographing Kath, Anna & Isabel getting ready. Chris was already photographing the ‘men in kilts’, maybe we should have swapped roles on this Read More
