The sea of red poppies at the Tower of London was an amazing sight. It was humbling to hear one father explain to his young daughter what all 888,246 poppies symbolized. The ceramic poppies are a beautiful way to remember the fallen of WW1. Read More

The Swan Hotel, Bibury Wedding – Sara & Marcus
A ‘Quacking’ Good Day!! Back to one of our favourite venues; The Swan Hotel Bibury and this time, both Sara and Marcus were getting ready at the hotel (separately obviously!) Their ceremony was held at St Mary’s Church in the village so only a short walk from the hotel for the guests. Sara was chaffeured in Matt’s Father’s car, an Austin 10 and trying to get the dress into the small car was quite a challenge. After the ceremony, guests were each handed a red balloon so they could stroll back along the river to the hotel adding a splash Read More

Great Tythe Barn Summer Wedding – Meg & Tim
Meg & Tim wanted to celebrate their wedding with their pets as well as their guests, so along came Brandy (Meg’s horse) and Maisie and Lola, the couple’s chocolate Labradors. Brandy was a great surprise for Meg as she wasn’t expecting to see her on her wedding day and their two dogs were given special permission to attend the drinks reception. So with the donkeys and pigs already in situ at The Great Tythe Barn, there was quite an menagerie in attendance. After a few hitches in the morning with no hot water (why do these things always go wrong on Read More

Katie & Matt – The Grange, Bristol Wedding Photographer
It was lovely to be asked to photograph Katie & Matt’s Wedding especially as we are neighbours ..…. no pressure! Matt is a Royal Marine and it was great to see the majority of the groom’s party dressed in their ‘Blues’, they looked very smart, what if they upstaged the bride? No chance, Katie looked beautiful in her dress and had 7 bridesmaids including her niece Erin who was so much fun to photograph especially when she decided to take a bit of a rest on Katie’s train, it’s so tiring being a flower girl. Guests were transported by two Read More
Birtsmorton Court – Georgina & Alex’s Wedding
Birtsmorton Court is an amazing place for a wedding and was chosen by Georgina & Alex to celebrate their marriage. I joined Georgina & her bridesmaids to capture the excitement of the morning and Chris joined the groom’s party at the church. Georgie looked stunning in a Paris Chiffon gown by Maggie Sottero: decorated with handmade flowers and Swarovski crystals with one shoulder crossing over into a dramatic open back. Birtsmorton Church is located in the grounds of the house and the bridal party walked the short distance in the beautiful sunshine, passing the moated Manor House where they would Read More
