Rachel & Martin had opted for a wedding all under one roof at Clevedon Hall, a grand Victorian Mansion. On arrival, I popped up to see Rachel and I have rarely seen a bride so relaxed which was lovely to see although with the M5 at a standstill, there were a few anxious moments waiting for key guests to arrive. Rachel did not want a traditional wedding gown so chose a knee length dress in her favourite colour: purple, with all the accessories in purple too. Even the bouquet was different: consisting of vintage brooches, pearls & crystals from Crystal Read More

Coombe Lodge Wedding Photographer – Becci & Phil’s Wedding
We were really looking forward to Becci & Phil’s wedding celebrations at Coombe Lodge, a new wedding venue for us. We had done a recce of the venue a few weeks before (plus a quick visit to the local pub to make sure it was of an acceptable standard for guests!) so we were well up to speed with some fabulous locations to take Becci & Phil for photos. The bridal suite was huge so plenty of room for me to capture those special moments like when the Dad sees his daughter for the first time in her wedding dress, Read More

Brympton House Wedding – Katherine & Brett
Katherine & Brett had chosen Brympton House for their wedding venue as it was local to them and as it was listed as “one of Somerset’s finest Stately Homes” how could this fail to deliver on the ‘WOW’ factor for a wedding and it certainly did not let us down. We arrived very early and were shown around by Ellie & Grace, who were very welcoming. The bridal suite was huge and I had plenty of fun photographing Kath, Anna & Isabel getting ready. Chris was already photographing the ‘men in kilts’, maybe we should have swapped roles on this Read More

Cadbury House Wedding Photographers – Becky & Darren
We had been looking forward to this day ever since we had received an unexpected e-mail from Darren saying he had a surprise arranged for Becky. You’ll have to read on to find out what the surprise was! Chris and I were greeted by broad, grinning smiles from both Becky and her 3 bridesmaids who were all very well organised. This is the first wedding we have photographed in a long time where the whole bridal party was ready ahead of schedule. No last minute panics, nobody rushing around to locate those vintage ear-rings granny had given or trying to Read More
