Cripps Stone Barn Wedding – Emma & Chris
After meeting Emma & Chris last May, we knew this would be a relaxed, fun wedding. We were really looking forward to returning to Cripps Stone Barn after last year’s helicopter flight, (check out Lyndsey & Kevin’s blog post for the full story). On arrival at Emma’s parents’ house, Alan (Emma’s father) was organising everybody and even ticked a box on his timeline to show we were there – what a great project manager! I often recommend plenty of time for bridal preparations but this doesn’t always happen. Thankfully, Emma had given herself plenty of time and with Jodi Croft doing Read More
Wedding Photographers at the Hare & Hounds, Tetbury
We believe that every photo should tell a story. Rebecca looks miles away, lost in her own little world, listening to the sounds of an acoustic guitar whilst Alex chats with friends. As the saying goes “a picture paints a thousand words” and this one certainly does. So as wedding photographers, this is what we do: capture a memory, a definitive moment in time. If you are looking for a wedding photographer, please give us a call. This was taken at the Hare & Hounds in Tetbury. We’ll be posting some more soon showing this beautiful venue. Read More
Clevedon Hall Wedding Photographers – Melanie & Martin
Mel & Martin booked us for their wedding at Clevedon Hall back in 2010 and it only seems like yesterday. They were married in Holy Trinity Church, Nailsea and during the service, they were handed a bottle of red wine by the vicar which we initially thought was slightly unusual (alcohol in a church during the ceremony?) but all became clear when the vicar compared the bottle of wine to a relationship; both improving with age. We stopped off to take photos of Mel & Martin with Clevedon Pier as a backdrop, we couldn’t miss out on this beautiful landscape Read More
Beautiful circlet of flowers…. for a while anyway!
Little Elisabeth was not too enamoured with her beautiful circlet of flowers, a bit of tugging here and there and she thought it looked much better. This was the transformation within 30 minutes! Her poor Mother had a real job trying to untangle the mess! Read More
The Bay Tree Wedding Photographers – Yen & Dries
Back again to The Bay Tree today, we love this venue: it has such character and the staff are so efficient & friendly, the food tastes pretty good too! I love the story of how Yen & Dries met in Barcelona: Dries was at a conference and Yen was holidaying on her own after her sister was unable to join her. Alone and at a loose end, they both decided to book themselves on a cycling tour around the city and the rest is history. Fate was definitely intervening that day. With family & guests flying in from Taiwan and Read More
The Bay Tree Wedding Photographers – Rachel & Neil
MARCH! Can someone please tell this weather that it is March and we are all waiting for Spring to arrive! Heavy snow was forecast so we decided to follow the boy scout motto and ‘be prepared’ so we opted to take the 4×4 and bump along the country lanes to Burford. We had our wellies, blanket, flask of whisky (sorry that should say hot drink) and shovel ready for action but we were greeted by an icing sugar dusting of snow, how disappointing. We love weddings at The Bay Tree, a beautiful 16th Century Inn set in the Cotswold and Read More
The Bay Tree Hotel – Wedding Photographers
I love this photo of Rachel; it was a bitterly cold day and she braved the elements for this beautiful shot, highlighting her lace dress. Although it had been snowing in the morning, her friend’s ‘lucky brolly’ was not needed, living up to its name once again. “We had the most amazing day and cannot stop smiling 🙂 Thanks so much for playing a part in it too. Thanks also for the early sneak preview of the photo. I love it! This is exactly what you both do so well: imaginative and inspired shots on the day. We had some Read More
Hare & Hounds Wedding Photographers – a few ideas!
The recent wedding open day at the Hare & Hounds gave couples the wonderful opportunity to look around this lovely country house hotel. The hotel also features Jack Hare’s, it’s own pub which Chris & I often frequent afer visiting the next door arboretum! The lounge has a crackling log fire, very welcome on chilly winter days and the large, comfy sofas are great for impromptu photos. We always find the staff so efficient and welcoming, it’s a great place to hold your wedding. The photos show some amazing suppliers: flowers, stationery, cakes, cars etc. and a few ‘arty’ photos Read More

Kingscote Barn Wedding Photographer – Rebecca & Chris
We had a real déjà vu moment when we arrived at Becky’s parent’s house, we entered only to see Amy, a guest from last week’s wedding. We had chatted to her and she did mention she had her brother’s wedding to go to soon but we never imagined it would be Chris. It was a very funny moment especially the look on Amy’s face when she saw us too! Becky and her bridesmaids, Ellie, Sophie & Lily, were all getting ready in the living room which meant I could really capture the buzz and excitement of the morning. Chris had Read More
Berkeley Castle Weddings – Kate & John
Berkeley Castle Weddings. Kate & John held their wedding at Berkeley Castle, one of our favourite venues and just up the road from us. Kate was early for the ceremony, that’s so unusual but so very welcome as we were able to capture some lovely, relaxed moments in the courtyard. Some guests however, were not quite so punctual! Kate looked stunning in a San Patrick satin gown with beaded straps and asymmetric ruched bodice adorned with unique appliqué down the side. There were few funny moments in the ceremony, I won’t embarrass John but some of the wording was changed Read More
