Clevedon Hall Wedding Photographers – Melanie & Martin

Mel & Martin booked us for their wedding at Clevedon Hall back in 2010 and it only seems like yesterday.  They were married in Holy Trinity Church, Nailsea and during the service, they were handed a bottle of red wine by the vicar which we initially thought was slightly unusual (alcohol in a church during the ceremony?) but all became clear when the vicar compared the bottle of wine to a relationship; both improving with age.  We stopped off to take photos of Mel & Martin with Clevedon Pier as a backdrop, we couldn’t miss out on this beautiful landscape and although we had bruised skies, thankfully we had no rain.  The wind was very blustery and it was quite a feat keeping Mel’s veil pinned in her hair.  We were then off to Clevedon Hall for the reception where guests were being entertained by Siona playing her harp.  Full of energy, the bridesmaids were having a great time jumping in and out of the fountain, thankfully it wasn’t filled with water!  One of the bridesmaids was trying out her dancing skiills by emulating the statue on top of the fountain, check out the photo below!  During the speeches, guests were shown embarrassing photos of Martin on his stag night, we won’t show you these (censored!) but the reaction on his new mother-in-law’s face was a picture, so we took it.  Clevedon Hall is a great venue with lots of rooms and space.  Whilst the kids were running around hiding behind the huge, squashy sofas, a photo booth had been set up in the corner of the Drawing Room and guests were really getting into the swing of things, maybe someone had opened that bottle of wine from the church?
