Berkeley Castle Weddings – Kate & John

Berkeley Castle Weddings.  Kate & John held their wedding at Berkeley Castle, one of our favourite venues and just up the road from us.  Kate was early for the ceremony, that’s so unusual but so very welcome as we were able to capture some lovely, relaxed moments in the courtyard.  Some guests however, were not quite so punctual!  Kate looked stunning in a San Patrick satin gown with beaded straps and asymmetric ruched bodice adorned with unique appliqué down the side.  There were few funny moments in the ceremony, I won’t embarrass John but some of the wording was changed accidentally, thankfully everyone laughed which helped to relax the nervous couple.  After the ceremony in the Great Hall, drinks were served on the canon terrace.  We then whisked Kate & John off for some photos by the lily pond and on the steps, a great backdrop for pictures.  Kate looked so beautiful in the autumn sunshine, a soft light which all professional photographers love.  We prefer relaxed photography, capturing the atmosphere of the day without anything too stiff and formal and Kate & John were so easy to photograph, there was a lot of the romance in the air!  Some of the most romantic photos were when everyone had been seated for the wedding breakfast and we had just a few minutes alone with them by the huge wooden gate, taking photos from a distance, they were lost in their own little world.
