We were back to one of our favourite venues today; Kingscote Barn with its stunning Cotswold views. Dave had placed hand-painted signs on nearby road junctions to guide guests to the barn (we love those personal touches at a wedding). As a landscape gardener for the National Trust, Dave and his bride had opted for a garden theme and the ceremony room was strewn with beautiful, original flower displays by Sorori Design Florists. Guest were also invited to take home a potted home grown herb: thyme, rosemary, basil. Keeping with the gardening theme, Dave had drawn the table plan in Read More

Kingscote Barn Wedding Photographers – Themed Flower Displays
Amazing flowers & originally designed arrangements by Sorori Florists for Rosie & Dave’s recent wedding at Kingscote Barn. The couple had requested a different themed flower display for each table: Rose Garden, Wild Flower Meadow, Lavender Walk, Herb Garden etc, all of which reflected Dave’s skills as a landscape gardener. The barn looked stunning! Read More
Fresh herbs anyone?
We loved this idea at Rosie & Dave’s recent wedding. Instead of traditional favours, how about a home grown herb? Dave is a landscape gardener so it was a great idea to present guests with home grown herbs for them to take away. More photos of Rosie & Dave’s wedding at Kingscote Barn to follow soon. Read More
Kingscote Barn Wedding Photographers – Siân & David
Siân & her bridesmaids were getting ready at her parents house in Didmarton, just behind a pub we know very well, The Kings Arms…. should we pop in? a bit early maybe. Whilst Chris photographed the features that go into making a wedding day so special: dress, jewellery, beautiful flowers etc., I was kept busy photographing Siân having her makeup & hair done whilst 5 very excited bridesmaids were getting ready. Siân & David had decided that their wedding car would be an E-Type Jaguar which was fantastic but I don’t think that the practicality of getting in and out Read More
Matara Wedding Photographer – Jo & Ali
We love working up the road at Matara, it is a unique wedding venue in the heart of the Cotswolds. With Matara’s tranquil and originally designed gardens, Jo & Ali wanted their wedding to be a relaxed, fun affair. They had arranged to stay the night prior to their wedding in the beautiful Regency House, which meant when we arrived to capture the excitement of the day, guests were already getting in the swing. Jo looked fabulous in a vintage mocha chic gown by Rembo Styling, with pearl & lace detail on a sweeping neckline and an amazing train with Read More
Kingscote Barn Wedding Photographer – Sian & David Pre-wedding shoot
We arranged to meet Sian & David for their pre-wedding shoot at Kingscote Barn and after going through the final details for their day, we took them off down the lane for a little walk. They admitted about being a little nervous about having their photos taken but with the click of the shutter and the noisy lambs bleating loudly in the fields behind them, they soon relaxed. We’re really looking forward to their wedding in a few weeks time, the ceremony is at a a beautiful country church followed by a party at the barn! If you are having Read More
Kingscote Barn Wedding Photographer – Rebecca & Chris
We had a real déjà vu moment when we arrived at Becky’s parent’s house, we entered only to see Amy, a guest from last week’s wedding. We had chatted to her and she did mention she had her brother’s wedding to go to soon but we never imagined it would be Chris. It was a very funny moment especially the look on Amy’s face when she saw us too! Becky and her bridesmaids, Ellie, Sophie & Lily, were all getting ready in the living room which meant I could really capture the buzz and excitement of the morning. Chris had Read More
Kingscote Barn Wedding Photographers – Lisa & Andy
Kingscote Barn is one of our favourite venues: local for us and having met Lisa & Andy there recently for a pre-wedding shoot and coffee in the local pub, it was like meeting up with old friends. After so much rain (remember all the recent flooding?) we had a dry day and also a tiny ray of sunshine, hooray! It was fun watching the girls get ready and thanks to Ellie, the dresses finally got laced up! Brandon wasn’t too impressed with his special present, a lovely teddy bear wearing a ‘best boy’ top as this was immediately jettisoned onto Read More
Kingscote Barn Wedding Photographers – Jessica & Martyn
We awoke to another wet day! However, Jessica & Martyn were not going to let a ‘little’ rain spoil their special day, celebrating their wedding at Kingscote Barn, a venue which we love with its spectacular views. So much thought had gone into the little touches: vintage name signs, candles, a huge mirror as a table plan, bunting, wishing trees, we had great fun photographing everything. Jessica looked stunning in a gown from the Enzoani ‘s Blue collection: embroidered lace with a soft overlay of tulle and ruched bodice. Jessica wore a precious stone and Swarovski crystal halter neck piece Read More
Kingscote Barn Wedding Photographers – Jo & Simon
Jo & Simon’s wedding was fun, fun, fun! It was an early start for us as Chris was covering the groom’s party getting ready (including a giant game of chess!) at the Cotswold Water Park and I was taking photos of the girls getting ready at one of our favourite venues, Kingscote Barn. Simon and his guests arrived on a red double decker bus, one of the old fashioned type with the open back and pole to grab hold of, providing some great photographic opportunities. After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed champagne and canapés on the terrace whilst others played Read More
