We awoke to another wet day! However, Jessica & Martyn were not going to let a ‘little’ rain spoil their special day, celebrating their wedding at Kingscote Barn, a venue which we love with its spectacular views. So much thought had gone into the little touches: vintage name signs, candles, a huge mirror as a table plan, bunting, wishing trees, we had great fun photographing everything. Jessica looked stunning in a gown from the Enzoani ‘s Blue collection: embroidered lace with a soft overlay of tulle and ruched bodice. Jessica wore a precious stone and Swarovski crystal halter neck piece which trailed down the middle of her back, it was just so perfect. Her bridesmaids, Lois and Sara, were great fun and even after a mishap with some very liveley champagne, they were still laughing. After an emotional ceremony, the bridal couple released some white doves and after a few group shots inside the barn, right on cue, the clouds parted and we saw some sunshine, albeit briefly but there is definitely a photograph showing some blue sky! Jessica was keen to go outside and we whisked her & Martyn off down the country lane for some beautiful, romantic photographs. Their caterers, Strawberry Fields, had been asked to provide a barbeque (ummm in that rain?) and the antipasti boards looked so colourful and tasty. The evening was danced away to the Overdubs and having two photographers for a wedding at Kingscote Barn always means we can get photographs from the gallery as well as down on the dance floor. The whole day was so much fun and we felt honoured to be part of such a special occasion.
