Kingscote Barn Wedding – Two Photographers

We are Chris & Gillian, a husband and wife photography team and we love photographing weddings at Kingscote Barn.

Katie & Nathan were a great couple, very relaxed so posed photos were certainly out (thank goodness!).  Having two photographers meant I could stay with Katie whilst she was getting ready at Will’s Cottage and Chris remained with Nathan & the groom’s party at Spring Cottage.  The girls had a really fun morning, the smell of the bacon sarnies brought the farm dog, Toby running to see us but unfortunately, we couldn’t let him in because of his muddy paws.  The fire alarm sensor was triggered by the smokey bacon and I have some very funny photos of the bridesmaids wafting cushions at the sensors trying to stop the racket.  Heidi and I always get on so well during bridal prep: she knows what time to be ready, always provides immaculate hair and makeup and we have fun whilst we work.  On the morning of the wedding, Katie’s Mum mentioned how well we work together and it was such a relaxed, enjoyable morning.  Please check out our Two Photographers page to see how Chris and I work together at weddings.

We were so lucky with the weather last Saturday for Katie & Nathan’s Autumn Wedding.  It poured with rain in the morning but cleared just as Katie left for the ceremony.  I love this photo; although Katie & Nathan are the main focal point, the lane just weaves its way through the Cotswold countryside.  Kingscote Barn is a beautiful location for a wedding at any time of the year.

Katie & Nathan’s full blog post will be coming soon but in the meantime, if you are getting married at Kingscote Barn or indeed any Barn and wish to see more of our photos, please take a look at our website and portfolio page.
