The recent wedding open day at the Hare & Hounds gave couples the wonderful opportunity to look around this lovely country house hotel. The hotel also features Jack Hare’s, it’s own pub which Chris & I often frequent afer visiting the next door arboretum! The lounge has a crackling log fire, very welcome on chilly winter days and the large, comfy sofas are great for impromptu photos. Corrina & Richard had wished for a very relaxed wedding at The Bay Tree in Burford and with the hotel’s excellent, personal touch, they certainly had a lovely day. The Bay Tree is a great venue in all weathers (but we had blue skies today!) and to celebrate the Golden Jubilee, it was adorned in union flag bunting. We met Rebekah & Tim at The Manor House, Moreton-in-Marsh to do their pre-wedding shoot and finalise the details of their wedding in a few weeks time. Laura & Johnny were hoping for a gin blue sky, frosty winter wedding but were greeted with high winds and grey skies but this didn’t dampen their spirits. Natalie & Ted celebrated their wedding at The Swan Hotel in Bibury, a beautiful Cotswold venue. Do the weather forecasters ever get it right? After predicting a sunny/cloudy but dry day, we had sun, heavy showers and thunder. Where has our summer gone? The ceremony was held at the quiet village church of Blunsdon St Andrew and the vicar, delivered one of the funniest sermons we have ever heard; very entertaining.
