The wedding season is upon us and it was lovely to kick it off with Julie & Tom’s, a very happy couple who didn’t stop smiling and laughing all day. We love photographing weddings at The Bay Tree, a beautiful 16th Century Inn set in the Cotswolds so it was a great day for us too. Julie & Tom arranged their whole wedding from New Zealand; what a challenge that must have been! It was lovely to see that so many friends had flown over to celebrate with them. The couple had hoped to hold their ceremony outside but after the glorious sunshine and warm temperatures of the week before faded, they held their ceremony in the conservatory. Julie looked amazing in a Wendy Makin gown; a French lace, strapless gown, ruched bodice with gorgeous art décor detail on the front & Tom beamed with pride when he saw his beautiful bride walking down the aisle. Some of our favourite photos of the day are of the happy couple beside a row of Cotswold stone cottages in Burford. Julie & Tom had a few days in the UK celebrating with their families before jetting off to Japan for their honeymoon.
