Clevedon Hall Wedding Photographer – Ginette & Kevin

We thought we were going to be lucky with the weather for Ginette & Kevin’s wedding, we’ve had so much rain, surely the clouds would run out of rain soon?  Upon arrival at the church, we were greeted by Kevin & his groom’s party in Naval & RAF uniforms and after the groom’s party in kilts last week, what else could a girl ask for …….   some sunshine maybe?  Ginette soon arrived at the church with her bridesmaids, dressed in a beautiful magenta colour.  With thunder overhead, we just got into the church before the heavens opened; excellent timing.  After the ceremony, Ginette & Kevin emerged from the church to a Guard of Honour provided by Kevin’s friends and colleagues, unfortunately it was pouring down so we all made a quick dash to the cars and onto Clevedon Hall.  The whole day continued with torrential downpours but we took our photo opportunities where possible and whisked Ginettte & Kevin outside.  We would like to thank Guy for being on standby with the umbrellas which were certainly needed when we were down by the lake: walking up the hill to the Hall with umbrellas is not to be recommended especially when there is thunder & lightning nearby!  Ginette has to be the most organised bride I have had the pleasure of working with, a like-minded soul and so much fun too.  Unfortunately, her dress got very wet between the church and the car but she kept smiling and laughing the whole day through.  Kevin & Ginette are spending their dream honeymoon in Peru, a country we would love to visit so we are looking forward to hearing all about their travels.
