The Mansion House & Riverstation Wedding Photographer – Charlotte & Simon

Charlotte & Simon had chosen two very different venues to celebrate their wedding in Bristol: The Mansion House in Clifton, with its Victorian grandeur and the Riverstation; a vibrant restaurant with wonderful views of the harbour.  Charlotte was getting ready at a local hotel and on arrival, we found the lifts out of order so we had to climb 12 flights of steps, thank goodness our recent holiday in St Ives had involved lots cliff walking!  Leesa Goodway’s makeup looked very natural and it was nice to find that Leesa is very local to where we live.  Charlotte looked beautiful in a San Patrick gown and with lace overlay & ivory sash.  Simon and guests arrived at the The Mansion House on a vintage Bristol bus and being open topped, we all breathed a sigh of relief as the rain held off.  After the ceremony, family & guests enjoyed a glass of bubbly on the lawns whilst we took some lovely relaxed photos of Charlotte & Simon in the gardens and around the gazebo.  The guests then hopped back on the bus (still not raining ….  just!) to The Riverstation, which is very well known for its dedication to great quality food and wine.  The wedding cake was decorated with white chocolate curls and topped with red berries and looked amazing.  I love this photo, it was so tempting just to break off one of the chocolate curls but Chris said no!
