With Martin’s family flying in from Norway, Sarah & Martin had a big family celebration for their wedding, lots of children, hustle & bustle & noise. They had chosen The Close Hotel in Tetbury for their wedding and after it was recently taken over by the Cotswold Inn chain, it was treated to a major refurbishment and what a transformation: it looked fab! The bridal room was very spacious and with two very excited, young children of their own, Martin & Sarah definitely had their hands full. Sarah wore a beautiful satin gown in oyster which suited her perfectly. In Read More
Wick Farm Bath Wedding Photographer – Tabitha & William’s Wedding
We met Tabitha & William a few weeks ago at Wick Farm to go through the final details for their wedding. When we asked Tabitha & Will why they chose Wick Farm, they said one consideration was that it was close to a main road so in the event of snow (being a December wedding!), everyone would still be able to get to the venue. However, they hadn’t reckoned on torrential rain for days on end which meant the nearby main road had flooded and the scenic duck pond had been transformed into a rather large lake! Will was waiting Read More
Wedding Inspiration
We always try to photograph the Bride’s dress hanging up. It is definitely worth investing in a padded, elegant hanger for your dress. Why spend that much money on a beautiful wedding gown only to have it hanging on a cheap looking, plastic hanger? Check out Clouds & Currents (www.notonthehighstreet.com) for personalised engraved wedding dress hangers. Read More

Cadbury House Wedding Photographers – Amy & Tim’s Wedding
Our first 30 mins on arrival at Cadbury House were spent in the car, waiting for the torrential rain to stop ……which it did, eventually. This is the first wedding we have photographed in quite a while where the whole bridal party have been ready in plenty of time. No last minute panics, nobody rushing and everyone was so relaxed which meant some great photos. Amy & Tim ‘tied the knot’ with a civil ceremony & had a couple of readings which we were unfamiliar with; “The One” and “Extract from the Velveteen Rabbit by Margery Williams”. The weather looked Read More
Tortworth Court Wedding Photographers – Theresa & Dan’s Wedding
Tortworth Court’s gardens looked very Autumnal with gorgeous oranges, yellows and greens and after Theresa saying she loved red, I knew her colour scheme would work perfectly. Her bridesmaids were dressed in red and even James, the Master of Ceremonies (a very funny guy!) was of course, also dressed in a red jacket. Theresa & Dan had opted for their ceremony in The Orangery and just as the bridal party were due to walk there from the main building, the heavens opened so up went the brollies keeping everyone dry. During the ceremony, the rain became heavier and heavier which Read More

Cripps Stone Barn Wedding – Emma & Chris
After meeting Emma & Chris last May, we knew this would be a relaxed, fun wedding. We were really looking forward to returning to Cripps Stone Barn after last year’s helicopter flight, (check out Lyndsey & Kevin’s blog post for the full story). On arrival at Emma’s parents’ house, Alan (Emma’s father) was organising everybody and even ticked a box on his timeline to show we were there – what a great project manager! I often recommend plenty of time for bridal preparations but this doesn’t always happen. Thankfully, Emma had given herself plenty of time and with Jodi Croft doing Read More

A fantastic double page spread featuring Becky & Chris’ Wedding at Kingscote Barn. Their ‘Real Wedding Story’ appears in the latest edition of Cotswold Bride and this is a snippet from their day “I was keen to get into a beautiful cornfield for photographs and our wonderful photographers, Callisto Photography got some truly romantic photos of us spending some time together as the wind caught my veil and the sun danced on the golden corn”. We’re pleased you loved the photos, Becky & Chris and you had a brilliant day. If you are considering a wedding at Kingscote Barn, please Read More
Westonbirt Arboretum Wedding Photographers – Debbie & Matt’s Wedding
Debbie & Matt had their hearts set on a colourful, autumnal wedding and rather than opt for a church, they decided on Westonbirt Arboretum as their perfect backdrop. It was great fun watching the girls getting ready, Debbie & Eunice particularly were in high spirits and the colour scheme was fab (check out Debbie’s ‘Irregular Choice’ shoes & Eunice’s mango coloured dress!) Sticking with the autumnal theme, the bouquets by ‘Oops a Daisy’ contained Mango Calla Lilies, Anastasia Roses & Cherry Brandy Roses. Debbie had attached a blue brooch to the bouquet, to remember her Grandmother by. We love photographing Read More
