Berkeley Castle Wedding – Natalie & Jon

After atrocious weather the day before, everyone breathed a sigh of relief to see the sun shining for Natalie & Jon’s Berkeley Castle Wedding.  Taking photos of Natalie and her bridesmaids was so easy as everyone was very relaxed and her Dad helped with the lacing of the bodice, a lovely touch.  Natalie wore a beautiful ivory duchess satin dress with rosettes and pleated bodice, she looked stunning, certainly the right dress for Berkeley Castle.  Getting married in such an amazing venue, means you need a big dress!  Her bridesmaid wore primrose coloured dresses, such a refreshing colour and to complete the look, they all carried bouquets by Sorori which consisted of huge golden sunflowers.  Emily, the little flowergirl, looked very cute clutching her little bucket of colourful blooms.  After the ceremony in the Great Oak Hall, we whisked Natalie & Jon off for a walk around the beautiful gardens, stopping near the fountain for some photos.  Although Natalie said she didn’t like being in front of the camera, she was probably the most relaxed bride we have photographed this year and was more than happy to pose for shots, I particularly love the one of Natalie sitting on the steps.  We won’t mention that Jon spilt some champagne on her dress, ooops I just did!  Just before we left, Nat said how much she loved having us as her photographers, she felt so relaxed throughout the whole day which was such an accolade when the bride was so camera shy!
