Natasha & Stewart’s Wedding – Hatherley Manor

How many churches does Gloucester have?  Thank goodness we knew where we were going!  First stop was the bride’s house which was buzzing with excitement, Natasha had 3 bridesmaids & 3 pageboys all under the age of 12!  Natasha wore a beautiful silk ivory gown with ruffled skirt and her sister, Tracey, made light work of lacing up the bodice: this can sometimes be trickier than it looks!  Chris went off to photograph Stewart and the groom’s party at St Barnabas Church and I love the photograph Chris took of the rings on the bible. Just before the service commenced, I took some beautiful photos of Natasha looking back at her bridal party, capturing that perfect moment of anticipation.  There were a couple of very poignant moments during the service: the lighting of commemorative candles and the very first steps of their niece, the surprised look on everyones faces says it all.  After the ceremony, Natasha & Stewart enjoyed a chaffeur driven ride to Hatherley Manor in an open topped car, thank goodness the sun was shining!  We happily photographed the couple with their 12 nieces and nephews and as you will see, Jack was a right little wriggler!  We were kindly invited to join the wedding breakfast and had a lovely time with the guests, gathering some interesting stories on Stewart’s ‘sock collection’ – say no more!

“Chris and Gillian you have done an amazing job, we are so pleased with our wedding photos and love every one of them, so choosing for our album was quite a task! The photo’s really capture how happy we were to be getting married and what a good time everybody had!  You made us feel very relaxed on the day and at ease with all the different shots you took. We now have all our memories of our special day captured beautifully to treasure forever. Many thanks once again.”
