Jo & James’ Wedding – The Bay Tree Hotel

The weather forecast had been right for once: rain, rain and more rain.  Thankfully, The Bay Tree Hotel in Burford is such a great venue with so many nooks and crannies for indoor photos.  The weather didn’t dampen the spirits of the guests and the bridal party were very relaxed when we arrived: it wasn’t long before the champagne corks were popping.  Is this a good time to mention the blue sticking plaster worn by Andy (father of the bride) on his injured thumb? Ummm maybe not …….. but it kept appearing in all the photos!!  Jo looked stunning, wearing a beautiful gown by Enzoani, a fishtail design with lace over organza and the ivory vintage belt provided that perfect finishing touch.  Jo was presented with a few photos from her hen weekend in Bournemouth, shame I didn’t get to have a good look but the pink wigs looked interesting!  We took most of the photos inside and the lovely, light conservatory gave us the opportunity to take some great shots, check out the photo (below) showing the back of Jo’s dress.  Jo & James spent a romantic weekend in Paris, I hope the weather was more favourable!

“They are absolutely fantastic.  James & I are rubbish at having our photo taken (as you may have established on the day) & are so chuffed that you have managed to capture some great shots.  I didn’t even know you were there taking my picture on some of them!  Thanks again Gillian to you & Chris. You made us feel so comfortable and were very personable.  We are really looking forward to seeing the preview book.”
