We were looking forward to a ‘blooming’ good day at Westonbirt Arboretum and with all the flowers bursting into colour, it didn’t disappoint.  The couple had opted for the Arboretum for a very relaxed, informal wedding and with lots of children running around, there was plenty of room for them to let off steam.  When we arrived, Gareth was already making himself at home with family & friends at the al fresco coffee shop.  Louise had stressed again and again that she never wore dresses, always jeans so I was rather taken aback when she stepped out of the car in a beautiful, Twenties inspired crystal & pearl beaded gown, it looked straight out of Downton Abbey.  During the ceremony in the Great Oak Hall, I was tucked away on the balcony upstairs whilst Chris remained downstairs photographing the exchanging of the rings etc.  Slightly tricky as the wedding cake and large flower displays were already in situ, he didn’t have a lot of room!  Knowing how nervous Louise was about having her photo taken and with lots of people around, we had already planned a route into the woods through a carpet of bluebells and an abundance of Rhododendrons.  With such a happy couple and colourful backdrop, we ended up with some amazing, woodland photos at their Westonbirt Wedding.
