The Hare and Hounds Tetbury Wedding of Charlotte & Jamie. Bunting, bunting everywhere, that is one word to sum up Charlotte & Jamie’s wedding; 80 metres of it in fact, all sewn by Charlotte. Charlotte & Jamie were originally getting married at another venue and after a follow up meeting with Chris and me, which just happened to be at the Hare & Hounds, they moved their wedding to this beautiful venue after our recommendations. We were so blessed with the weather, the day either side had been torrential rain but the blue sky meant an outdoor cermeony. During the ceremony, the pageboy, Ethan, decided he would go for a little wander, well why not? A ceremony can be so boring when there are so many more interesting things to explore. As I was perfectly positioned at the back of the ceremony, I captured a great shot of Ethan escaping down the aisle whilst the bride and groom remained oblivious to everything going on around them. Charlotte & Jamie’s little dog, Roxy put in an appearance and with quite a few children in attendance there were a few footballs flying around too, a very chilled out atmosphere. The evening’s entertainment was provided by Vince Freeman who appeared on The Voice but not before a surprise for the bride & groom. Seated in front of the dance floor, they had no idea what to expect. Then ‘ta dah’ out came the pom poms and the hen party took to the dance floor to perform a choreographed routine to OMI’s ‘Cheerleader’ which apparently was the theme tune of the Hen Weekend. Charlotte’s face was a picture, how the girls managed to keep it a secret from her, I will never know. I’m not sure all the ladies knew what they were doing, but who cared, it was great fun and brilliant to be part of …. I meant taking photos, not joining in!
