Great Tythe Barn Wedding – Danielle & Matt

Danielle & Matt’s Great Tythe Barn Wedding was great fun, starting with a church ceremony in the pretty church of St Peter’s in Stratton and finishing with the ‘Hot Shots’ Band rocking the barn. As guests gathered outside the church on this lovely, summers day, Matt waited inside nervously whilst the ushers were swigging from a hip flask which I can only presume contained something stronger than squash! I know the ceremony is the official part of the day but there is something about a good confetti shot which makes me smile, it’s like the start of the fun for the rest of the day. We love the Great Tythe Barn in Tetbury, it always has such a relaxed atmosphere and there is plenty of room for the guests to spread out. Having already done a pre-wedding shoot for Matt & Danielle at the Barn, I knew Danielle would be nervous as she hates having her photo taken so we suggested some photos away from the guests. Off we went to the band stand in the private part of the garden. The black and white photos look amazing, they chose quite a few of these for their album so they obviously agree. After the speeches, we took the opportunity of papping guests outside in the late summer sunshine and captured some lovely, candid moments between Danielle & Matt. The sun was getting low in the sky which created some long shadows which provided us with some stunning photos.

If you are celebrating your wedding at The Great Tythe Barn, we’d love to hear from you.  Please take a look at our website to see more of our work.
