Elmore Court

Chris & I love photographing weddings at different venues and Elmore Court ticks all the boxes for us.  This unique venue overlooks the River Severn, dates back to the 1580’s and oozes history and charm.  The main ceremony room has a large, stained glass window and we were lucky enough to visit when the sun was streaming through providing us with a beautiful colour show.  Guests can stay at Elmore Court and with a huge bridal suite, there is plenty of room for the bride and her party to get ready and even more room for photos.  I loved the ‘Downton Abbey’ style servant bells in the passage way, a nod to a bygone era.  The solid wooden staircase has a slight ‘wonk’ which adds to the character of the house.  After the ceremony, guests can either enjoy champagne and canapés in the drawing room or outside in the gardens and if you choose a Summer wedding, the fields are covered with an abundance of wild flowers.  As an alternative to a marquee, the Gillyflower was specially built from sustainable materials and sound proofed so you can party long into the night.  We hope you enjoy  looking at our photos; with so many nooks and crannies to explore, we could have spent all day there.  As we visited on a beautiful, Spring day, we thought we would throw in some snowdrops and daffodils for good measure and a gate to nowhere, we hope you love the silhouette shot!

Please check out our website for further details about our style of photography.  If you are not sure why you should book a husband and wife photography team, take a look at our Two Photographers page which will show you the benefits of booking us (Chris & Gillian) to photograph your wedding & you will be able to see how we shoot completely differently even when covering the same scene allowing us to widen the range of images taken.
