The Bath Spa Hotel Wedding Photographer – Elizabeth & Jules

On arrival at the Bath Spa Hotel, we were greeted by two very excited little bridesmaids, Rosie & Martha who just couldn’t wait to get into their pretty little dresses.  Elizabeth looked amazing in a Caroline Castigliano dress and Di Hassall’s vintage inspired embroidered shoes with organza ribbon.  As the bridal party waited nervously in the church entrance, the St Edmund’s School Chamber Choir sang ‘Love Divine’.  Elizabeth, arm in arm with her father, walked down the aisle to a ‘Fanfare and Wedding March’ composed by Jules especially for his beautiful bride.  With three choirs in the church, the singing resonated around the Nave, it was very moving.  Afterwards the couple shared time with their friends & family and Jules played the piano accompanied by the Pewsey Belles (formed by Jules himself) and the little bridesmaids were mesmerised as the choir sang ‘Over the Rainbow’.  Returning to the hotel for the wedding breakfast, we took some fun photos of the couple on the London bus.  Later in the afternoon, guests were treated to a quintessentially English afternoon tea; scones with jam & cream, cucumber sandwiches and fruit tarts – everything looked so delicious!  The couple’s first dance was a Foxtrot to ‘A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square’ much to the delight of their family & friends.  One of our favourite photos from the day is the one taken from the raised gallery at the rear of the church showing the stained glass window and Elizabeth & Jules kneeling for a blessing.  It captures a beautiful moment during their ceremony.

“The photos are fabulous!!   We are glad that you also found time to enjoy the day with us and hope you were made to feel welcome.”  Elizabeth & Jules

“As Elizabeth and I approach the birth of our little girl, we felt it really was about time to thank you for your work photographing our wedding.

We have heard many stories about people who regret not investing more in their wedding photography. Not just financially but in terms of finding the right person or people to undertake such a responsibility.  Elizabeth and I were therefore keen to find a photographer who would do justice to our day and capture not only the sequence of events but also the atmosphere of the day.

Right from our very first meeting, we felt that you and Chris were the perfect choice. This was confirmed when we met you in Bath to run through the plans for the day and show you around the church and the reception venue.  On the wedding day itself the photography was non intrusive but still captured so many little details we may otherwise have missed.

The final album represents everything we had hoped for and is a perfect reflection of our wedding day.  Everyone who has seen it has commented on the amazing quality of the photographs and the way they have been presented.  We would therefore just like to say a big Thank You to you both and wish you all the very best for 2013.Jules & Elizabeth
