As wedding photographers, Chris and I are always being asked by couples what type of photos we take in the winter months.  The answer is simple, virtually the same as we do throughout the year, although the weather conditions might sometimes curtail that romantic walk down a country lane.  We never ask our couples to go outside for very long unless of course they want to, but red noses and blue lips are never a good look!  As we say to all our couples, “It is your day and we are here to provide the type of photography you will like”.  We love the ‘golden hour’, so called because it is the first and last hour of sunlight in the day and as the sun falls, the light is warm, rich and dances off the stark, bare landscape.  Just look at these amazing photos we took at a winter wedding at Kingscote Barn; a beautiful golden landscape with Lowena & James wrapped up in their own little world.  And how do all the guests warm up after a very cold day?  With a great party of course!
