Amazing day at Jennie & Matt’s Swan Hotel Bibury Wedding in the Cotswolds. A very warm welcome greeted us at Jennie’s parents house and it was alive with the hustle & bustle of a large family getting ready. Taking photos of the bridal party with two very young children, Ellis & Thomas was definitely a challenge and although I got the perfect photo, I prefer the one with Thomas’ face right in the centre of the lens as he came to investigate what I was doing. They couple were getting married at the quintessentially English Church of Chedworth and by the time Jennie & her bridesmaids had arrived, Chris had already taken photos of a nervous Matt waiting for his bride. The entrance of Jennie was very emotional with lots of tears and laughter. Chris took some great photos of them exchanging rings from the front of the church whilst I captured the service unfolding at the back. Jennie’s Madeline Gardner lace applique & crystal gown looked stunning with a very low back allowing me to take a beautiful photo of the couple with the stained glass window in the background. A restless Thomas decided it was time to explore the church and whilst Jennie & Matt were signing the register, he danced in the middle of the aisle whilst Rob entertained the guests with his guitar. Onto The Swan Hotel in Bibury for the reception, one of our favourite venues. The guests enjoying their Pimms in the garden & were entertained by Dave Dean ‘Going with the Swing’. The Japanese tourists were out in force and they loved watching Jennie & Matt in the gardens and we couldn’t resist taking a photo of their impromptu entourage. One of our favourite photos is of Jennie & Matt by the stream, the sunlight reflecting off the water, even the swans put in an appearance. After the speeches, we capitalised on a quieter Bibury and took the couple down to Arlington Row for some evening photos and after their hectic day, Jennie & Matt enjoyed this relaxed, time together.

The beautiful village of Bibury in the Cotswolds. Arlington Row is a favourite tourist spot but in the evening, we had the whole place to ourselves.
I couldn’t resist taking a photo of Eeyore and ‘A Lovely Love Story’, an excerpt of which was read out by during the service by Caroline & Emily.
Thought we’d put the men to good use and ask them to move the house!
Jennie & Matt got married whilst the World Cup tornament was taking place, maybe Thomas is a contender for England in the future. He can’t do any worse!
There’s nothing quite like a few giggles to relax the atmosphere.
Shades on, shades off……..
A rather nervous looking groom and when Jennie looks up at the end of the aisle, her expression says it all.
I love this photo taken from the back of the church showing Jennie’s stunning dress. It’s so important to have detail at the back of the dress as this is what everyone sees during the ceremony.
An energetic Thomas trying to put Rob off his guitar playing duties!
We love a good hat! More please ……
Jennie’s bouquet worked perfectly with the lavender in the gardens of The Swan Hotel
Just a few Japanese tourists joining in the celebrations which ended with a round of applause!
Jennie just check that her ring is still sparkling!
Cute little ducklings came along right on cue.
The Rice Krispie cake made by Jennie’s Mum, slightly different.
