It was lovely to see Kathy & Mike again after doing their pre-wedding shoot in April.  The couple had flown over from Chicago for their wedding and it was lovely to see that so many friends and family had flown over to celebrate with them.  As a surprise, especially for the American guests, an old fashioned red London bus was used to ferry the guests to the ceremony.  Kathy & Mike were married at the Methodist Church in Thornbury and held their reception at Tortworth Court.  Although the rain had held off, it was blowing a gale and poor Kathy lost her veil within a few minutes of getting out of the car.  After swiftly re-arranging a few hair grips we were off for photos around the beautiful grounds.  Kathy was happy to sit on the steps (we always provide a towel so no soggy bottoms!) and we took some lovely photos of the wind blowing through her hair; no wind machines were necessary.  In the evening, guests played black jack and roulette, hopefully nobody lost too much money!  Kathy & Mike jetted off to Paris for a few days before returning to Chicago.  Here are some of our favourite photos, we hope you like them.
