Manor by the Lake – Great entertainment during Roxanne & Sam’s wedding reception at Manor By The Lake. The Swinging Rascals had everyone up & singing, we especially loved their rendition of Shirley Bassey’s “Hey Big Spender” complete with red feather boa which was happily modelled by Danny, great shot! They certainly got the party started with “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You”, “Delilah”, “Is This The Way to Amarillo” and “Sweet Caroline” amongst others. We can highly recommend them. Great Tythe Barn Wedding – Jess & Jonny
Great Tythe Barn Wedding Photographer – Being Jess & Jonny’s Great Tythe Barn Wedding Photographers was always going to be great fun. Jess and I ‘got’ each others’ sense of humour straight away and everytime I visited her Total Look Hair Salon, we chatted about her wedding so I was over the moon when she asked us to be her photographers. I think that every bride should own their own hair salon; the lighting was great for hair & makeup & everything was to hand: grips, hairspray, clips and straighteners galore. A quick bridal party wander along the High Street Read More

Berkeley Castle Misty Winter Wedding
Wellies and a faux fur wrap were the order of the day for Alex & Will at their Berkeley Castle Misty Winter Wedding. Thermals too, maybe? I didn’t like to ask! This is a little snapshot from their January Wedding and although we didn’t have bright blue skies, the misty background adds so much atmosphere to this picture. We took a few photos on the gun terrace and down by the fountain and then it was back inside, to warm up by the log fires. Berkeley Castle is a perfect Winter wedding venue. If you are getting married at Berkeley Castle or another beautiful venue Read More
Callisto Photography – New Team Member
Introducing Tilly, the newest member of the Callisto Photography Team …. and yes she is a puppy! I’ve been rather quiet on the blog recently and apologies to everyone who likes reading our regular updates and wedding posts. We had a very busy 2016 photographing some absolutely amazing weddings and we’ve also been attempting to train a very hyper Cockapoo. We rarely post personal pics on this page but I thought I would share a few of our little ‘Red Rocket’ Why is she called a ‘Red Rocket’ you ask yourself? Well, in a nutshell, Tilly is always so fast, she has two Read More
Happy 2017 – Let’s do this!
Happy 2017 to all our lovely couples, friends & fellow suppliers out there. Are you having difficulty getting back into the swing of things like me? The second job on my list is proving a little tricky 😂 Chris would probably say I have to find it first! I’ve been rubbish at blogging this year, a little puppy dog took over our lives but hopefully, this year, I will find a bit more time to blog. We photographed a fantastic Kingscote Barn – October Wedding with Lou & Matt. You might be asking the question “why should we invest in two photographers?” If you wish to see the benefits of commissioning Chris and me to photograph your wedding, even when shooting the same scene, please have a look Read More

Bridal Tradition – The Veil
It was lovely to see Becca following bridal tradition. After seeing one of our previous wedding blogs where the bride was wearing a full length veil over her face, Becca decided to do similar for her marriage to Chris at Fulbrook Church. The practice of a bride wearing a veil over her face is steeped in history and mystique. Rumour has it that often the ‘less popular’ sister was married off to an unsuspecting groom when veils were much thicker: nobody would get to see the bride’s face until after she had tied the knot. Not the best way to start married life! Read More

Kingscote Barn – Two Photographers – Katie & Nathan
Not sure you need two photographers for your wedding? As you will see from Katie & Nathan’s Kingscote Barn wedding, we shoot in completely different ways even when covering the same scene. Hopefully, by seeing the set of images below, you will see the benefits of booking us to photograph your wedding. Whilst I am taking one shot, Chris is taking the other. Having a husband and wife team that work together all the time has tremendous benefits over a single photographer or a photographer who relies on assistants. We always work together and know where each other is at any given Read More
