Kingscote Barn is one of our favourite venues: local for us and having met Lisa & Andy there recently for a pre-wedding shoot and coffee in the local pub, it was like meeting up with old friends.  After so much rain (remember all the recent flooding?) we had a dry day and also a tiny ray of sunshine, hooray!  It was fun watching the girls get ready and thanks to Ellie, the dresses finally got laced up!  Brandon wasn’t too impressed with his special present, a lovely teddy bear wearing a ‘best boy’ top as this was immediately jettisoned onto the floor.  Andy was waiting patiently for the first glimpse of his beautiful bride: it is always a great photo opportunity, capturing the groom’s expression of anticipation.  There were some lovely, happy moments between Lisa & Andy and we also took a great photo of Amelia, their bridesmaid, who looked spellbound thoughout the ceremony.  It was an emotional day and out came the hankies…….   After the ceremony, Lisa & Andy were keen to make use of the terrace outside to capitalise on the amazing views, after all, this is often why couples book Kingscote Barn as their wedding venue.  We didn’t wander too far though as there was a definite November chill in the air and we didn’t want Lisa turning blue, even if it was her colour scheme.  Amelia had great fun twirling around in her pretty dress, I love the stance; are you having ballet lessons by any chance Amelia?  The barn looked amazing, decked out with lots of candles, making it a truly romantic place to have a wedding.
