We were invited to the Press Open Day at Birtsmorton Court, one of our favourite venues.  The theme was ‘the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party’ and with canapés, bubbly, jam tarts with tea and an ‘Alice in Wonderland’ themed Treasure Hunt, it was a great day enjoyed by all.   For couples looking for a wedding venue steeped in history, look no further than this Medieval, moated manor house with its drawbridge leading into a secluded courtyard, 16^th Century Great Hall boasting a large open fireplace, timbered walls, and a beautiful William & Mary ceiling.  After their ceremony, couples can enjoy a drinks reception overlooking the moat before moving on to the White Garden with its beautiful fountain and abundance of white, summer flowers.  There are so many amazing photographic opportunities!
